Carnival in the park


In the local park, the birds are out in force. (No doubt the damp weather is bringing out the worms.) Some are inconspicuous LBJs, flitting around in the bushes and evading my lens. Others are less camera shy:

Yellow patch and indignantly ruffled feathers: black-collared starling.

Red patch and cheeky crest: red-whiskered bulbul.

I love bulbuls! Here are more of them.
