Ghost homes

One of the most striking and melancholic aspects of hiking in rural Hong Kong are the homes of families that have moved away to seek a more prosperous life in the city or abroad. Some dwellings are now just ghostly shells, but others still contain the junk of daily life that only a generation ago was still in use.
